Day 1: Marrakech to Boumalne Dades via Ait Ben Haddou – Overnight in Boumalne Dades
Start your journey early from Marrakech, driving across the scenic High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka pass. Admire the stunning mountain views and small Berber villages along the way. Stop for photos at the panoramic viewpoints and enjoy the changing landscapes. Continue your journey to Boumalne Dades, passing through the beautiful Skoura Oasis and its famous kasbahs. Arrive in Boumalne Dades and spend the night surrounded by the dramatic cliffs and winding valleys.
Day 2: Boumalne Dades to Merzouga
After breakfast, drive along the famous Dades Valley, often called the “Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs,” and continue to the breathtaking Todra Gorge, where sheer cliffs rise dramatically on both sides. After exploring, continue through the desert towns and small villages until you reach Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara Desert. Day 4: Merzouga to Fes
